Menofly ("Menofly", "we", "us") makes a consumer wellness app that helps adults track symptoms related to perimenopause and menopause. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. This is a working draft and must be reviewed by qualified counsel in your jurisdiction before Menofly begins charging customers.
Who this applies to
Menofly is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
What we collect
- Account information — email address, display name, authentication identifiers, and time zone.
- Health tracking you enter — symptom logs (for example hot flashes, sleep, mood), notes, and any HRT or medication history you choose to record. You control what you enter.
- Device and usage data — basic analytics such as pages visited and errors encountered, used to keep the app working.
How we use it
- To provide the tracking, insights, and doctor-ready reports you request.
- To keep your account secure and prevent abuse.
- To improve Menofly in aggregate — never to profile you individually for advertising.
What we do NOT do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not share your health data with advertisers or data brokers.
- We do not use your health data to train third-party AI models.
- We do not provide diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice.
Legal bases (EU / UK users)
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on your explicit consentto process health-related information, and on our legitimate interestsfor basic account operations and security.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account at any time from within Menofly. Deletion is permanent. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights (for example under GDPR, the California CCPA/CPRA, or Washington's My Health My Data Act).
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest, and access is scoped so that only you can see your own entries. No system is perfectly secure; we notify affected users if we ever discover a breach, in line with the FTC Health Breach Notification Rule and applicable state laws.
